Paul Cross has three decades experience in the waste and environmental sectors. Paul has held senior management roles contracting to the industry's most respected companies.
Inspired by Major Michael Jeffrey, Paul’s passion has gravitated to the enhancement of healthy soils and healthy plant growth supporting food production for human nutrition as well as developing a viable solution for food waste packaging and treated timbers.
Paul combines a “customer first” focus with the necessary commercial understanding to develop tailored solutions for re-purposing of food organics while maintaining a focus on waste avoidance and the circular economy for all waste and recycling.
Waste Avoidance Strategies and Circular Economy Solutions
From Now On have aligned themselves closely to the implementation and development of food organics and recycling programs contracting to waste industry service providers, equipment and technology suppliers, and, more importantly interacting with key decision makers who manage government facilities, residential living, hospitality, commercial offices and retail centres.
This places the From Now On in a unique position to have observed the industry from the supply chain, through to customer behaviour, to service provider practices and ultimately end user and destination facility solutions. It is quite evident there has been significant appetite and awareness of the necessary behavioural change towards waste avoidance coinciding with NSW EPA’s Waste Less, Recycle More Strategies.
The objectives of our business are aligned with the sustainability strategies, which includes environmental and social governance of the key stakeholders, eventual beneficiaries and their sustainability teams.
Knowledge from previous rounds of Bin Trim and recent waste avoidance pilot programs have made it evident that there is a void in linking better managed end user solutions with better managed waste avoidance strategies, which is a considerable issue not only for NSW industry, but nationwide.
